How we think about storage — and why it matters

Most apartment storage units in Santiago are not a storage problem — they are an organisation problem. We approach each unit as a space that can be genuinely useful, with a process that is practical, transparent and respectful of what you already own.

Bodegas that accumulate rather than store

Santiago's residential towers have grown significantly over the past two decades. Almost every apartment comes with a storage unit — a bodega — in the building's underground levels. In practice, these spaces often become a default destination for anything that does not have a clear place in the apartment above.

Over time, the bodega fills up with items that were moved there temporarily, items that have sentimental value but no practical use, and items that were simply forgotten. The result is a space that cannot be used effectively — and that the owner rarely visits because navigating it is genuinely difficult.

This is a common situation, not a personal failure. The problem is structural: without an organisation system, any storage space will gradually fill and become inaccessible.

Start from zero, build from there

Our approach begins with a complete emptying of the unit. This is not just practical — it is necessary. You cannot make good decisions about a space when you can only see part of it. By removing everything, we create visibility: of the space itself and of every item it contained.

From there, the selection process is collaborative. We work with you to identify what is worth keeping, what could go to someone who needs it, and what has simply reached the end of its useful life. This stage requires your involvement — only you know the value of what you own.

Once the selection is complete, we install a modular shelving system designed for the specific dimensions of your unit. Items are returned to the shelves in a logical order, grouped by category and placed at appropriate heights for ease of access.

the result

A record that travels with you

The digital photo inventory is the part of our service that clients often find most valuable over time. It transforms a physical space into a searchable, accessible record.

your inventory, anywhere

Every item in the storage unit is photographed individually and catalogued with a brief description. The resulting document is structured by category — tools, seasonal items, household goods, documents, sports equipment and so on — and delivered digitally.

For individual owners, the inventory means knowing exactly what is in the storage unit without needing to visit it. For co-investment groups managing multiple units, it provides a shared, consistent record that any member of the group can access.

The inventory is also useful for insurance purposes, for property handovers, and for anyone who has simply lost track of what they own. It is a practical document with a long useful life.

What guides the way we work

Transparency

Nothing is moved, donated or discarded without your knowledge and approval. Every decision is yours to make.

Respect for ownership

We treat every item in the unit with care, regardless of its apparent condition or value. It is your space and your belongings.

Practical outcomes

The goal is a storage unit you can actually use — not a decorative arrangement that falls apart the moment you add something new.
